If we truly want to live in a civilized society we need this enshrined in law because it has not been possible any other way.
Women are an active positive and constructive force in all walks of life at all levels of society and need to be represented as such in both houses which still remain a bastion of the old boys network and chauvinist old fashion attitudes.
Most of what is civilized is female.
It's past the time that women are allowed to freely and fairly take part in the running of the country.
Please sign this petition so that we can finally enter the 21st century.
