Rejected petition Recognise rent paid has affordability when trying to get a mortgage

When going for a mortgage the banks and mortgage companies don’t take rent paid in to consideration even though it’s mosts peoples biggest bill every month so would like them to be made to cause rent is more expensive than a mortgage
