Hospital chiefs want to close one of the local A&E units as part of a £50m savings plan which is either Huddersfield or Calderdale A&E unit. We want Huddersfield hospital A&E to stay open as Huddersfield hospital and A&E is bigger than Calderdale A&E and hospital. They are more people in Huddersfield than the Calderdale area.
