Make it compulsory for kids to learn sign in school so they can communicate with their deaf/non verbal kids in their school or classroom

I think its so important for kids to be taught to communicate with their school peers and friends in a school/everyday setting. My son is non verbal and as important as it is to learn other languages i think its just as important to learn how to sign so the hard or hearing kids or non verbal kids do not feel alienated from the rest of their class.
