Lowering/Suspending Fuel Duty will have a knock-on Deflationary effect on many other everyday costs including food prices, travel and other essentials which are all components of the Cost of Living Crisis for the average family.

Given the additional Revenue which the Exchequer is receiving in VAT on the higher current Fuel Costs there should be some room for reducing Duty to ease the financial pressures on the average family.
