Sir Peter Birkett was awarded his knighthood in the Queens jubilee honours for 'services to education' https://www.thegazette.co.uk/London/issue/60173/supplement/1

Considering the results of the investigations by the FE commissioner, the SFA and the EFA showing serious mismanagement of the Barnfield Federation over a number of years.

The government must reconsider the appropriateness of this knighthood and consider if it was awarded in error and should be rescinded.
