Rejected petition Help every consumer to access and benefit from remotely harvested solar energy.
By taking the remotely sited ‘solar farm’ approach but for the benefit of all domestic & commercial consumers collectively, as a nation, so that for relatively low investment, large cost saving ensues over the next 2 to 3 decades or until emerging and future technologies replace the current need.

This is not a call for any form of nationalisation. Everything needed to enable this, quickly, exists bar a crucially important coordinated government plan to ensure that energy consumers can invest what’s needed to meet only their own needs. The benefits in this time of crisis are many; cost, self-sufficiency, savings to the public purse and, in a wider sense, will lead to carbon neutrality, greater use of electric cars and potentially a huge boost to the national economy.
