Rejected petition Provide more financial aid with nursery fees for full time working parents

Currently the only support full time working parents get with nursery fees is the tax free child care where the government contribute £2 for every £8 paid. the government should increase their contribution or reduce the free hours funding age for all parents not just those on low income or benefits

More details

If a parent wants to go back to full time work they usually require full time childcare. This is costly and the government contribution isn’t enough.it hasn’t increased with the cost of living and as the free funding hours for full time working parents isn’t eligible until your child is 3 this leaves on average 2 years of full fees to be paid.we where paying £1081 a month to send our son to nursery for 4 days, because we have chosen to be full time working parents we are penalised financially
