An independent Ombudsman to be introduced to investigate complaints of discrimination, bullying, sexual harassment and other forms of harassment. This will ensure individuals are not afraid to complain which happens at the current time as they do not want to up set the chain of command / line management. It will also ensure complaints are investigated in a timely manner. Currently complaints can take years to be investigated. This will also make sure the investigation is carried out by trained individuals and the conclusion and findings are fair. This will ensure there is no bias in concluding and finding.
