Urge HM Government to facilitate and promote the construction of new tram systems in major cities. The light rapid transit (tram) systems now in Manchester, Sheffield and Nottingham have proved to be very successful. Cities such as Bristol, Southampton, Liverpool and Leeds could also benefit.
