Rejected petition It’s time for the uk Goverment to make energy companies publicly owned

The goverments attempt to stem the steep rise of electric and gas bills is useless. As long as these companies are owned privately with greedy shareholders who have shelf companies abroad taking every penny from uk people paying their companies crippling rates for energy ruining peoples lives.

I want the goverment to make an energy company a public company for the uk people to own. There will be no huge shares of uk tax evasion of profit going to greedy individuals but will be reintroduced into the company to reduce energy costs for the uk people. Otherwise the uk uk will be responsible for severe poverty and the death of many people who cannot afford to heat their homes or eat. The goverment need to implement this NOW !
