Rejected petition Overturning the ban on Gays and Bisexuals Donating Blood

More details

Gay and Bisexual men in the UK, who have engaged in sexual contact with other men (even with a condom) are not allowed to give blood for a year after this contact.

This is due to outdated studies that designate Gay and Bisexual men as a 'higher risk category'.

However, 42% of HIV and AIDS patients are Gay and Bisexual, compared to 49% of Heterosexual cases.

Please sign this petition to demand a review of these regulations.
