Children and young people shouldn't have to pay to access their education. Many families are not in a position to be spending hundreds of pounds each year to help their children get to school/college. Education is the biggest part of a person's life and many are put off as they can't afford the travel costs. Manchester offers reduced travel for students, £10 our pass scheme for 16-18 yr olds.
Why should children and young people have to risk furthering their education due to financial pressure.
