In many areas, particularly the more rural and remote areas of the country, the banks have closed their local branches. This has severely impacted their customers ability to conduct their banking business , or access their cash, or pay cash into their accounts.

The increasing bank branch closures and the imposition of such draconian limits on personal accounts means that individuals ability to manage their monetary affairs is being severely impeded.
