The Local Government Association wants to scrap the discount on council tax for those that live alone.

Council tax is one of the unfairest taxes around as people are charged for the size of their home and not their income or number of over 18s living there.

Single people are ripped off as it is at the moment with no help with other things like utilities.

Give those that live alone some benefit. Plus they use very few services compared to a family of four
