Invest in the north of England's cultural, educational and economic future by founding a branch of the British Museum in the north of England. This would also reduce unnecessary travel to London with consequent ecological benefits. We have an Armouries and War Museum but we need to share the currently undisplayed national treasures and turn one off London exhibitions into more local attractions.
