Petition make Easter Sunday a recognised public holiday

As Easter is an important event on the religious calendar, I think it should be recognised as a public holiday.
Most businesses close across the Easter weekend with a few remaining open.
Easter Monday is a recognised Bank holiday but Easter Sunday is treated as a normal day, Why?
Religiously speaking it's a more important day on the calendar.
Please can the Government look at changing this day to a National Holiday which has to be respected by all employers.
