Rejected petition Government to pay for - Care Allowance
2 years ago I become a mother (and I am currently pregnant with my second child).
I am worried about the future.
How we will afford to stay at home when my children are off sick?
Employers don't pay for staying with a sick child at home
Nursery, mortgage, bills and life still stay the same.

Why can't we have support as other countries do?
If we are allowed to have SSP for our self why not for our loved ones? They can't take care of them self can they?
Example from other country Care Allowance :
Both parents should be entitled to sick leave for a child, but not at the same time.
The form of employment does not matter here.
! Importantly, the care allowance can be obtained not only for the care of a child but also for another sick family member. !
They pay 80% of salary.
