Petition Petition to ban UK Energy suppliers from directly importing Russian Gas

In light of hostile and aggressive actions from the Russian Federation, we the undersigned demand the government pass legislation banning the direct importation of Russian gas for the UK domestic and industrial market. We the undersigned agree that any level of dependence upon the Russian Federation for energy requirements, either domestic or industrial, is unacceptable, naive and incompetent

Legislation is required to impose a severe penalty for corporate actors who seek to expose the British people to an unacceptable risk of energy disruption and dependence upon unreliable and aggressive states, specifically, the Russian Federation.
