Rejected petition Stop service users and carers being financially exploited by agencies
The aim of this petition raise the concern of financial exploitation of services users and carers to the Government and Parliament and to put in place a cap on the money being earnt of someone misfortunes and a cap on how much these companies can withhold from the carers doing the job.

So many companies across the country are charging extremely unnecessary amounts to provide care to an individual and unfortunately the carers doing all the work are being underpaid - Having a massive effect on the industry; many carers will choose and have chosen to leave a job they love and thrive in because they are being financially exploited and struggling to make ends meet! So many agencies pocket a big chunk of what they charge, and most will agree it’s absolutely disgusting, unnecessary and inhumane! Please help us bring this issue to Parliament/Government to ensure there is a cap on how much agency can earn off these vulnerable people, but also help us ensure all carers are being paid correctly and fairly for the job and hours we are working!
