I want the government to pass legislation declaring outright that bridge is not a sport in any way.

Currently bridge is seen by many as a sport and is treated as such by institutions around the United Kingdom. This causes problems because bridge players are given credit for sporting ability in place of real sportsmen who have worked hard to be as good as they are.
