Legislation has long been passed for other areas & should also apply to representatives & staff.

There is very low confidence in Parliament as a result of apparent high drug use & zero accountability for drug abuse.

It is against the public interest to have MPs with a drug dependency problem, and it leaves them open to blackmail.

Further, it is not helpful to the individual to ignore potential or prove drug use - proper rehabilitation should be offered to offenders.
