If you end up in a wheelchair after an accident, when you are discharged from hospital with signature of specialist, who agrees that you will be unable to walk for up to 6 months, allow a "Light Blue Badge " with the persons photo on it for a charge of say £25 to allow them to park in supermarket / town disabled car parking spaces. At the moment you have to be permanently disabled for a badge. It makes life very difficult for many who have broken legs/ ankles and need to use a wheelchair.
