Our campaign is trying to get all VAT removed on womens sanitary products. They are an essential item and not a luxury therefore should NOT have added tax. In this current economic crisis people are already struggling to pay for essenials without the added costs. We feel that this is wrong!
Babies nappies have no added VAT on them. We feel that nappies and sanitary products are similar in what they do for a client.
