There are so many sufferers with IBS (irritabele bowel syndrome) that are unable to work due to the symtoms of ibs and the chronic cramping of abdominal pains. It is a long term illness with no cure and minimal medication which only eases symptoms. Many sufferers have lost their jobs due to non understanding of the syndrome and sick days taken due to not been able to function correctly at work and carry out everyday tasks. It can adversley effect your quality of life and needs to be made more aware of the illness and added to the disability list.
