Place a limit on charge amount for rents ie; that landlords charge on their rental properties

Tenants nationwide are struggling to afford high rent amounts and thus have to seek support or housing from local boroughs, rent amounts do not match average house hold incomes

Decisions about rent for private properties are a matter for individual landlords, not the UK Government or Parliament, but the Government could restrict increases in rent for private property. We have published the following petition, which you might like to sign:
