Closed Fund degrees for all medical students, provided they work at NHS for 5 years

We believe the Government should provide grants to pay for the degrees of all medical students, so long as they work at the NHS for 5 years.

If someone leaves the NHS before 5 years are up, they would have to repay part of the grant based on how early they left.

We believe this a common sense approach to reduce the burden on those who choose to dedicate their life to helping save others.

Police officers, fire fighters and coastguards don't need to pay for the training they need to do their jobs.
