The UK has long since lost credible claim to be 'The Mother of all Parliaments' and is now more likely to be an example of corrupt government. The majority of members being little more than lobby fodder for voting. As a first step to reform I propose we replace the House of Lords to remove all the accumulated political cronies and replace it with a 100 member fully elected senate modelled on the US system
