With rising rent and household bills, it can be extremely difficult to meet living costs with the Universal Credit earnings taper. Some families see significant reductions to their Universal Credit when in full-time work, and can struggle to cover family and household expenses.

This needs to be removed so that hard-working single parents who want to better themselves see the full benefit of earned income, and so that people are not just working hard struggling to survive.
