Closed Extend the older person's bus pass to cover free tram travel

The older person's bus pass gives an appreciated opportunity for holders to travel and enjoy the hospitality of many places. The inclusion of trams would enable holders to make other journeys for free, which should benefit businesses as well as travellers.

The legislation providing for the older person's pass person does not include travel by tram. We believe this should be changed.

Expanding the bus pass to cover tram travel could also help reduce the number of car journeys and thus reduce road congestion.
