Closed Ban companies linked to ministers/their families getting Government contracts

Avoid conflicts of interest. Where Government ministers or their immediate family are shareholders or otherwise connected to a commercial company that company should be unable to bid for or receive Government contracts.

Allowing businesses with links to Government ministers or their families to bid for and receive Government contracts creates opportunities for and the impression of bias, and can make the Government seem untrustworthy.
