Rejected petition Regular Local Crime Statistics Available for Students

Make it a requirement for crime statistics of the local area around universities to be updated monthly and readily available for all students (such as sending a report via email monthly).

After conducting a research study, it has come to my attention that many students have misrepresented views of their own personal safety due to various forms of crime related media (fiction and non fiction). This has resulted in many females feeling as if they are at a higher risk of crime than they are, as well as males thinking they are at a lower risk.
