I would like for Black History to be thought in school. It is believed that learning ones history can influence how one view the world, culture, goals and achievement.

As a BME parent and a recipient of the Mary Seacole Award, this has given me in insight into my heritage and empower to achieve when others fail to believe and invest in me.
