People knocking on doors to preach and attempt to convert others to a religion can cause severe distress. In my experience, they ignore signs and requests to be removed from their lists.

I would like it to be illegal for religious people to knock on my door to preach and seek to convert me as this is persistent and unnecessary. If people wanted to convert, they would seek out religious organisations.
