Make strict rules governing what the train operators can and cannot do. This will ensure that every company must have a minimum standard in customer service and if they don't agree with the standard they lose the franchise.

We want our railways to be a customer friendly environment which is inclusive to everyone and creates jobs. The customer should have the right on where they buy their ticket and travel in a safe and secure environment. All trains should be staffed to ensure the safety of the travelling public and all stations especially the main stations should be staffed.
