we ask the government to recognise the true value of carers who receive the lowest benefit payable @ £61 per week and conditional on the carer working 35 hours per week .which results in the carers saving the state over 120 billion pounds each and every year we ask the government to.

1-retain the non means tested carers allowance benefit,
2-raise the allowance to the same level as the unemployment benefit , and over a period of time increase the allowance to the level that the centre for social justice recommended in 2007 in their report broken Britain
3-pay the carers allowance tax free ( as other benefits are).
4-protect the carers allowance by introducing a triple lock system ( as the retirement pensions are ).
5-provide free prescriptions for carers .
