Rejected petition BAN UK AIRPORT DROP-OFF CHARGES
Rejected on
Legistlate to ban airports from exploiting the public in this shameful way. There is no justification for it and no other civilised nation would dream of allowing it. The airports should be forced to return the money paid to date in some way as a fine.
Because it is greedy, immoral, unjust, stressful and uncivilised. It must surely contravene basic human rights in essence.
Why was this petition rejected?
It’s about something that the UK Government or Parliament is not directly responsible for.
We can only accept petitions about things the Government or Parliament are directly responsible for.
Decisions about charges for airport services are a matter for individual airports, not the Government or Parliament. As a result it is not possible for the Government or Parliament to take the action you have requested.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
