The UK Government to make it unlawful for an individual to make false claims about being in the Military Service and/or claim that they served; should be made a Criminal Offence in the United Kingdom which includes England, Ireland, Scotland, Wales and including it's Territories. Why was this petition rejected?
We can't publish petitions when the request is something that's already happening or something that has been announced since you started your petition.
We think your petition is covered by Government or Parliament action already. If you'd like something else, you could start a new petition clearly explaining what it is.
It is already against the against the law for a civilian to wear a uniform of the armed forces without authorization, and false claims of military service used to obtain money or other enrichment are prosecuted under the general crime of fraud.
We only reject petitions that don’t meet the petition standards.
