The Health and Care Visa 20-hour cap exemption for supplementary work should be extended where the sponsor employer is unable to provide the required hours of work.

This temporary cap exemption has been a crucial lifeline for healthcare professionals like myself, enabling us to contribute fully to the healthcare sector while maintaining our immigration status. It should be extended where the sponsor employer can't provide the required hours to provide much-needed support to professionals like me, who are committed to the healthcare sector and the well-being of patients in the UK.
