Closed Prevent family courts from making decisions based on hearsay

We believe the standard of proof in family courts is too low, and that too many decisions are made based on hearsay, such as the word of social workers and guardians. We want the Government to prevent family courts from making decisions based on hearsay.

It is the Government's responsibility to ensure that decisions made by family courts are made on a sound and reasonable basis. We do not believe this always happens at present.
