Petition Build a national memorial in memory of all lives lost to open water
I lost my son Dylan Ramsay to open water in 2011. Dylan was one of many that year and astonishingly he's one of thousands. Since his passing we've lost many more people to open water. Don't all these people and those who died before Dylan deserve to be remembered? If you agree please sign.

Many parents or family members who've lost loved ones in tragic circumstances like a drowning or water-related accident go on to teach future generations in memory of their loved ones. I personally think that a memorial is the very least that our government could do to remember all those lives lost to open water. It would be a place for people to reflect, a place to remember loved ones and a place to see that they truly are remembered. Some of those who drowned died trying to save another person's life.
