Recent changes to what is considered acceptabale practice in our hospitals has rightly outraged many people. We must protect the advancements we have made with regards to hygiene and safety, especially with the rise of superbugs. If a nurse refuses to comply with basic operating room safety procedures then she should be considered unfit for practice.
Patient safety MUST come before all else.
