I am concerned that new entrants to the UK could fall prey/victim to phone scams like a fake call from HMRC saying 'you are going to get arrested'.

If the authorities sent a email or handed a pamphlet to educate those arriving in the UK about these scams, I think many people could be saved from the trauma.

I believe that many innocent people are falling victim to this, especially the new entrants to the UK. The mental trauma and financial loss could have lasting impact on many people creating an unpleasant experience visiting/working/living in the UK.
