Closed petition Legalise pepper spray/tasers for defence against dogs bred for fighting

People have dangerous, large, genetically bred for fighting dogs without being vetted, licenced or trained to handle.

They walk them in public off lead, unmuzzled, these dogs are free to attack adults, children & pets, the public should be allowed to have pepper spray and tasers to protect ourselves from such dogs.

Too many dog attacks happen, too many owners have the mindset that 'their dogs wouldn't hurt a fly' and are therefore too relaxed when it comes to their own safety let alone public safety. Some dogs are so strong that certain owners aren't strong enough to overpower their own dogs if there is an incident or they aren't trained to control their dogs. Many of us don't trust the owner's ability to handle such dogs as there is no training involved to own one, so we are living in fear.
