Closed Allowing Motorcyclist the choice to wear a helmet

There should be a choice for a rider to wear a motorbike helmet if they chose to it doesn't make any sense to enforce a rider to wear a helmet when he can legally ride a motorbike with a tank top and shorts on . for your bike test you HAVE to wear all the proper gear if you don't comply your not allowed to sit your test, but as soon as you pass you don't have to abide to any of those RULES so it really comes down to choice doesn't it?

Protective motorcycle clothing
There’s no law about wearing other protective clothing, but specialised motorcycle gear is highly recommended - it could save your life.
