Closed Regulate & Monitor Gel Nail Products (monomers) sold to the general public.

It has been reported amongst the media & scientific literature that there is a significant increase in adverse reactions to gel nail products. A direct link between this increase & uprise in use of these products by untrained professionals at home has been found. This needs addressing & regulating.

These monomer containing products are being sold on mass market places and are being advertised as 100% Safe, Not Harmful to Skin or Health and many more claims. This is impossible to claim for monomer containing products. These products do not list the ingredients on these sites & the ability to report adverse reactions is extremely difficult. Consumers are not aware of the dangers surrounding this. Better regulation and monitoring of this is needed.
