Estate agents have significant power to affect the lives of property seekers, and the economy. We believe estate agents too often prioritise being "salesmen", and sometimes do not have the knowledge and skills to fulfil their role responsibly.
Imposing licensing and exams should help raise the quality of professionals within the property industry and prevent estate agents from potentially conducting themselves improperly, without knowledge or dishonestly.
