Closed petition To make Maternity Services a Priority

With the stillbirth and neonatal death rates too high in the UK, it needs to be seen that more needs to be done with this.
Across the board from an extra scan in the third trimester, to extra funding where needed to support families. More research into lowering the death statistics, which are heavily funded by charities rather than the government funding to include more consultants available on shift, including weekends and bank holidays.
The cuts in these services are dangerous and need to be changed. Let's cut the death rate and look after what is to be our future!
