Closed Require all MPs and ministers to take equality and diversity training

Following the Conservative Party Conference where the Prime Minister made comments that we believe are insulting to transgender people, we want MPs and ministers to be required to complete equality and diversity training to try and ensure they don't insult people!

At the Conservative Party Conference on Wednesday 4th October the Prime Minister said "We shouldn't get bullied into believing that people can be any sex they want to be, they can't. A man is a man and a woman is a woman, that is just common sense."

We believe this statement will be hugely insulting and hurtful to many people, including the 262,000 people in the UK who have said that the gender they identify with is not the same as their sex registered at birth.

MPs and ministers should represent all people!
