Closed Truck drivers rights,welfare and equality

It is by law that truck drivers must have daily rest periods however we are made to pay for parking to follow this law 95% of MSA are un clean disgusting expensive the food is un fit for human consumption
We the truck driving community would like better facilities provided better food and cleanliness however as the drivers hours law is an eu law we would also like the goverment to abolish having to pay for parking in MSA and adopt the free of charge system like our European cousins after all are we not part of Europe or is it one law for them and another for the uk driver ?
